Prerequisites
- ✓A Mailchimp account (Free, Essentials, Standard, or Premium)
- ✓An API key generated from Account > Extras > API Keys
- ✓Your server prefix (e.g., us21) from the end of your API key
- ✓A ClawTrust agent on any plan (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise)
Step-by-step setup
Generate an API key in Mailchimp and add it to your agent.
Open Mailchimp Account Settings
Sign in to mailchimp.com and navigate to Account > Extras > API Keys. This is where you manage your API access.
Create an API key
Click "Create A Key". Give it a descriptive label (e.g., "ClawTrust Agent"). The key will be generated and displayed on the page.
Copy the API key
Copy the generated API key. Note the server prefix at the end of the key (e.g., us21). This determines your API endpoint: us21.api.mailchimp.com.
Add to ClawTrust
In your agent's dashboard, go to Credentials > Add Credential. Select "API Key (Bearer)", paste your key, and set allowed domains to *.api.mailchimp.com.
