Mailchimp Integration

API Key (Bearer)

Connect your AI agent to Mailchimp. Manage lists, create campaigns, add subscribers, and pull analytics directly from conversations.

What your agent can do

With Mailchimp credentials, your agent gets full access to your audiences, campaigns, and automations through the Mailchimp API.

List management

Create, update, and organize audience lists. Manage segments, groups, and tags to keep your subscribers organized.

Campaign creation

Build and send email campaigns with templates, scheduling, and A/B testing. Manage drafts and send immediately or later.

Subscriber management

Add, update, and remove subscribers. Manage merge fields, tags, and subscription preferences across your lists.

Automation triggers

Set up and manage automations, trigger workflows based on subscriber actions, and control drip sequences.

Analytics

Pull campaign performance data including open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and revenue attribution.

Prerequisites

  • A Mailchimp account (Free, Essentials, Standard, or Premium)
  • An API key generated from Account > Extras > API Keys
  • Your server prefix (e.g., us21) from the end of your API key
  • A ClawTrust agent on any plan (Starter, Pro, or Enterprise)

Step-by-step setup

Generate an API key in Mailchimp and add it to your agent.

1

Open Mailchimp Account Settings

Sign in to mailchimp.com and navigate to Account > Extras > API Keys. This is where you manage your API access.

2

Create an API key

Click "Create A Key". Give it a descriptive label (e.g., "ClawTrust Agent"). The key will be generated and displayed on the page.

3

Copy the API key

Copy the generated API key. Note the server prefix at the end of the key (e.g., us21). This determines your API endpoint: us21.api.mailchimp.com.

4

Add to ClawTrust

In your agent's dashboard, go to Credentials > Add Credential. Select "API Key (Bearer)", paste your key, and set allowed domains to *.api.mailchimp.com.
